The three credit bureaus? HELP!!!?

June 15, 2010 - 4:13 am 4 Comments

I have to mail or fax a bill that was settled in order to have them update my account so it shows there is not a revolving balance and it is closed. I settled two yers ago and thought the company would notify the credit bureaus like my other settlement did. But it did’t. They said I have to mail or fax them a copy. I can’t find the fax number or correct address to send it. And i tried calling and an hour later and still pushing buttons I gave up. I want my credit report updated and collection agencies to stop calling me. Its paid and closed. I am tired of mailing my reciept to a new collection agencey every 4 months. HELP!!!!!

Are payments on credit cards issued by credit unions reported to the three major credit bureaus?

June 15, 2010 - 4:11 am 3 Comments

I am trying to build credit and I was declined a secured credit card by Bank of America so I am thinking of trying at a credit union.

Yes, payment or non payment from any type of credit card is reported.

Note: this includes department store cards, that can be much less hassle to get than bank cards. and another good way to start the credit report.

which of the three credit bureaus (equifax, transunion & experian) gives a more accurate results?

I need a credit card that reports to credit bureaus and doesn’t report that it is secured?

June 15, 2010 - 4:08 am 2 Comments

I just turned 18 and I’m trying to build my credit, but it’s been difficult to get a credit card. I decided to get a secured credit card but I need one that reports to all three credit bureaus and does NOT report it as a secured card…

Get a secured card like
http://www.finance.ebookorama.com/nextmilenniumcard.php?id=hra0tt16koo9 it will report toall credit bureaus and it is just perfect to build credit.

Does all three major credit bureaus use the new fico 08 system. Is it currently in affect?

Currently none of the three credit bureaus are using FICO 2008, it’s not going in to affect until later this year if all of them can agree.

I have an average credit score of 660 from the three credit bureaus. Can I get a car loan? if so at what rate?

It depends on which lender and if there are any special interest rates available, such as 2.9% for 60mo. Your credit score, debt-to-income, loan-to-value, as well as employment history will dictate what tier level you will be. This level is what most manufacturer lenders, such and Ford Credit, GMAC, and so on base their approvals. Your score is more than enough to qualify for a low manufacturer APR, so the rest of the loan needs to be in order to give you a better tier level. This makes it easier for people to qualify for special interest rates.

If you go through an outside lender, many of them use your score to base your rate, which would put you in the middle and then your rate depends on what the lender offers. Getting approved should be pretty easy for you, as long as the rest of the loan is OK. Good luck and you can email me if you have more questions.
